Transcript

"Animal Cookies!" is an episode of Oobi from season one. Like the rest of the season, it is a short that aired during commercial breaks.

Plot

Oobi walks over to a picnic table outside. Kako follows him and puts a box of animal-shaped cookies on the table. They get the idea to play a game, where they show a different animal shape and ask the viewers to act like that animal.

First, Oobi shows a lion cookie. Kako and the viewers pretend to roar like one. Next, Kako shows a cow cookie, so Oobi and the viewers moo. Oobi shows a pig cookie, and Kako acts like a pig by eating all of the cookies. Oobi is disappointed that he couldn't have any, so he scrunches up his fingers.

The design on the cookie box is based on Barnum's Animals, the best-known brand of animal cracker.
An elephant can be seen on the box, but none of the cookies are shaped like one.
The setting of this short—a big hedge with a red building behind it—is the same one from "On & Off!" and "Noggin: Love".
