Transcript

"Apple Picking!" is an episode of Oobi from season one. Like the rest of the season, it is a short that aired during commercial breaks.

Plot

Uma is at the local apple orchard. She spots a perfect apple on a tall branch, and she tries to reach it by hopping up and down. Oobi notices her and tries to reach it by stretching his fingers out. Next, Kako walks up to them and tries to get the apple by leaping towards it after getting a running start.

When all three of the kids' methods fail, Oobi suggests working together to reach it. Kako hops on top of Oobi, and Uma climbs on top of Kako. Uma is just able to grab the apple and plucks it from the branch. As she happily announces that she has the apple, the kids start to wobble and fall down. When they get up and brush themselves off, they all laugh and celebrate getting the apple.
