Barbershop Type Workplace Employees Barber Appearance "Haircut!" The barbershop is one of the buildings in Oobi's neighborhood. Description The barbershop appears in the "Haircut!" episode, where Grampu takes Oobi for his first haircut. An elderly barber is the owner and only employee. In the episode, Oobi is nervous and thinks that getting a haircut will hurt. When Oobi walks into the barbershop, he sees a blonde woman shaking her hair back and forth. This inspires Oobi to dance around with his hair, making him a little less nervous. To show Oobi that a haircut won't hurt, Grampu sits in the barber's chair and gets his arm hair trimmed a little bit. Oobi decides that he's ready and sits down for his haircut. The barber shows Oobi around the barbershop, pointing out different hairstyles shown in photos on the wall. Oobi doesn't like any of them and just wants his head shaven. The barber takes out all kinds of hair care supplies from his drawer and gives Oobi a clean shave. Looks The interior of the barbershop is a pinkish color. Many photos of hand puppets with wigs can be seen on the walls, as well as a poster of a hair comb. In the center of the building is a leather chair, where customers sit to get their hair cut. Behind the seat is a counter that holds all of the barber's tools.
