Scene 1: Building a fort [Oobi and Kako are wearing a pot and colander on their heads. Behind them is a box of building blocks.]
Oobi and Kako: March, march, march, march, march, march.Oobi: Oh, hi. Oobi march.Oobi, Kako, and Voices: March, march, march. March, march, march. March, march, march. March, march, march. [all laughing]Kako: Build fort. Ah. [takes out a yellow circle block] Circle.Oobi: Hmm. [takes out a blue square block] Square.Kako: Fort. [places the circle on the side] Here.Oobi: Fort. [places the square on the other side] Here.Kako: Kako fort here. Hmm.[The boys begin building their block fort.]
Scene 2: Oobi and Kako's argument [Oobi and Kako have finished their forts.]
Oobi: Oobi fort... [pats his fort] strong.Kako: Kako fort... [pats his fort] strong.Kako: [gasps loudly] Kako fort better.Kako: [raises his palm in front of Oobi] Ah, ah, ah! Kako busy.Oobi: But... [stammers] Oobi busy![Oobi and Kako turn away to each other. They look at each other briefly then turn away again.]
Oobi and Kako: [together] Humph!Scene 3: Uma wants to play [Oobi and Kako have put up signs on their forts.]
Oobi: Ah. Oobi fort perfect.Kako: Kako fort perfecto.[The boys sigh one by one, then louder. Uma arrives.]
Uma: [gasps] Uma play fort.Oobi: Uh, Uma, Oobi play.Oobi: Uh, Uma, Oobi fort blue.Uma: Blue, ooh. [goes to Oobi's fort]Uma: Yellow, ooh. [goes to Kako's fort]Uma: Oh. [goes to Oobi's fort again]Uma: Ooh. [goes to Kako's fort again]Oobi and Kako: Uma. Uma. Uma, Uma.[Uma gets so overwhelmed by Oobi and Kako's forts.]
Uma: Oobi, Kako! [pants] Uma play...Uma: Inside. [singing as she leaves] La, la, la, la.[Oobi and Kako sigh, but turn away from each other again.]
Scene 4: Oobi and Kako's forts are no fun [Later, the boys are bored.]
Kako: One block. Two blocks. Three blocks? [sighs] Hey. You. You, Kako fort. [laughing] Welcome.Oobi: Yeah, ooh, secret knock. Yeah, secret knock. Ooh, ooh, ooh, yeah. Oobi, you, secret knock. Um... oh. [knocks] You secret knock. [knocks again, the viewers knock] Come in.Kako: Hey. Kako, you, secret knock. You , secret knock. [knocks] You secret knock. [viewers knock] Ha. Come in.Oobi and Kako: [knocking] Come in. Come in. Come in. Come in. Come in.[Grampu arrives.]
Grampu: Oobi fort, Kako fort? Why?Grampu: Oobi fort, Kako fort. No fun. [leaves][Kako enters Oobi's fort.]
Kako: Um... Oh. Square. Blue. Nice.[Kako takes a cracker and eats it.]
Kako: Um, uh... Oobi visit?[Oobi enters Kako's fort.]
[Oobi takes a cookie and eats it.]
[Later, the boys build a new fort, combined with circles, squares, and triangles.]
Scene 5: The new fort Oobi: Oh. Huh. Kako, Oobi fort.Kako: Oobi, Kako fort. [chuckles]Oobi and Kako: [together] Grampu! Uma![Uma and Grampu arrive and see the expanded fort.]
Oobi and Kako: [together] Secret knock. [They knock on their forts]Oobi: Uma, Grampu, [gasps] You! You secret knock. You , secret knock.[The family and the voices knock all together.]
Oobi and Kako: [together] You enter!Grampu: Ooh, Oobi, Kako fort. Fun.Oobi and Kako: [together] Yeah.Oobi and Kako: [together] Friends. [they high five] Whoo! [laughing][Interview segments start.]
Scene 6: Interview #1 Oobi and Kako: [together] Hey. [they high five] Whoo.Oobi: Oobi, Kako friends.Kako: Yeah. Anthony. Anthony, Kako friends?Anthony: Yeah. [he high fives with Kako]Oobi: Oobi, Anthony friends?Anthony: Yeah. [high fives with Oobi]Oobi: Whoo. [laughs] Oobi, Kako, Anthony friends.Scene 7: Interview #2 Girl #1: I like building because it's like art.Girl #2: I like to build houses.Girl #3: I'm the one that huffs and puffs and blow house down.Girl #2: And my little sister huffs and puffs and blows my houses down like the three little pigs.Uma: Ha. Building fun. Hmm.Scene 8: Game segment Oobi and Kako: [singing] Game, game. Game, game. Game, game. Game, game. Game!Oobi: Circle, square, triangle. You remember.Oobi: Circle, square, triangle.Oobi and Kako: [together] Circle, square, triangle.[He motions for Kako to look away while he hides one of the shape blocks.]
Oobi: Okay, Kako. You remember. Circle, square... Remember.Voice #1: [boy] Triangle.Voice #2: [girl] The triangle is missing.Oobi: Triangle. Good. You remember. Circle, square, triangle. Kako.Oobi: Okay, Kako. You remember. Square, triangle...Voice #3: [boy] It's the circle.Oobi: Circle. Good. Game over. Kako? Kako?Kako: [hiding in the green pot] Oobi remember?Oobi: Oh. [laughing] Um, Kako?Oobi: Oobi, you friends. Bye.Voice #1: [girl] Bye-bye, Oobi. Bye.
