About the crew

Oobi was created by Josh Selig, a longtime Sesame Street writer. The show starred a cast of accomplished puppeteers that Selig knew from his time working on Sesame. The main cast members were Tim Lagasse, Stephanie D'Abruzzo, Noel MacNeal, and Tyler Bunch.

The recurring cast included a number of high-profile Muppet performers, like Kevin Clash (the original voice of Elmo) and Matt Vogel (the current voice of Big Bird and Kermit the Frog).
