Scene 1: Oobi's untidy room [The camera pans across Oobi 's room. It's totally messy, with clothes and toys thrown everywhere. Grampu walks into the room and closes the door.]
[Grampu looks at the viewers.]
Grampu: Oh, hello! Grampu wake Oobi.[Grampu tries to walk through the room. He notices things all over the floor and hops over them.]
[Grampu slips on a small orange ball.]
Grampu: Whoa! Huh. Umm. [clears throat] Oobi! Wake up![Oobi is still sleeping in his bed.]
Grampu: Oobi, wake up! Huh. Oobi asleep. Very. [laughs] Hmm.[Grampu looks at the viewers again.]
Grampu: [to the viewers] Oh. You help Grampu? You wake Oobi. Ready? You , wake Oobi. Oobi!Voice #1: [girl] Oobi, wake up!Voice #2: [boy] Get up, Oobi.[Oobi finally wakes up.]
Grampu: [laughing] Oobi awake![Oobi stretches and yawns.]
Grampu: [to the viewers] Thank you.Oobi: [to the viewers] Oh, hi. Morning.[Oobi looks out his window. He sees that it's sunny outside.]
Grampu: Whoa, whoa, whoa.Grampu: Mm-hmm. First breakfast, then clean room. Then play outside.Grampu: Yes, Oobi clean room. Uh. Look. Toys, books, socks. Oobi room, mess.[Oobi and Grampu look around the room.]
Oobi: [sighs] Oobi clean room.[Just then, Uma walks on screen, holding a feather duster.]
Uma: Uma side clean. See?[The camera pans to Uma's side of the room. Her side is totally clean.]
Grampu: [off screen] Ooh.[Uma gives her feather duster to Oobi.]
Oobi: [a bit angrily] Oobi clean room.Grampu: Good, but first breakfast.[Oobi and Grampu walk off to have breakfast.]
Scene 2: Interview [An interview segment starts. Grampu is interviewing a kid named Charlie.]
Grampu: [laughs] Charlie help Grampu clean?[Grampu gives Charlie a feather duster.]
[Grampu takes out another feather duster. He and Charlie dust around.]
Grampu: Dust. [humming] Dust, dust. Dust, du--[Grampu starts to sneeze from all the dust.]
Grampu: Ah-choo! Whoo, dusty. [laughs]Scene 3: Oobi cleans by himself [Oobi is cleaning his room. He's put a few toys, books, and socks into separate piles.]
Oobi: Toys, books, socks.[Oobi walks over to his bed. It's still messy.]
Oobi: Mess. [sighs] Big job. Hmm. Oh, Oobi get help. Uma![Uma walks into the room.]
[The scene cuts back to Uma's clean bed.]
Uma: [off screen] Uma side clean.Oobi: Oh, uh, Oobi side messy.Uma: Mm-hmm, true. Uma side clean.Oobi: Oh, hey, Uma help Oobi?[Oobi holds up a feather duster, hoping that Uma will take it.]
Uma: Hmm... [shaking her head "no"] mm-mm. Oobi help Oobi. Uma play outside. Bye.[Uma runs off to play outside.]
Oobi: [sighs] Oobi clean room. Toys, books, socks.[Oobi picks another book up off of the floor.]
Oobi: Oh. Book. Hmm. Books. Huh.[Oobi adds the book to the book pile. Next, he picks up a sock.]
[Oobi looks at the viewers.]
Oobi: [to the viewers] Oh. You help Oobi. Sock where? Ready? Sock where?Voice #3: Put it with the socks.[Oobi adds the sock to the sock pile.]
Oobi: Sock. Socks! Huh. Thank you.[Uma is playing outside. Oobi sees her through his window.]
Uma: [humming] Uma play, Uma side clean!Oobi: [sighs] Big job. [sighs][Grampu walks into Oobi's room. Kako follows him.]
Grampu: Oobi! Kako visit.[Oobi and Kako do their secret handshake.]
Oobi and Kako: Whoo! [laughing][Oobi and Kako run to the door. Grampu stops Oobi.]
Grampu: Oobi clean room. Sorry.Oobi: [sadly] Oobi clean room.[Kako is about to leave, but Oobi stops him.]
Oobi: Help Oobi, clean room?Kako: Huh? Oh, uh... um, uh... no. Kako play outside. Sorry.Kako: Oobi. Ball. Kako borrow?Oobi: Oh, uh, Kako borrow. On bed.[Kako looks for the ball on Oobi's bed. He can't find it through the huge mess.]
Kako: Huh. Um, ball. Uh... ball. Hmm.[Kako looks at the viewers.]
Kako: [to the viewers] Hey. You help Kako. Find ball. Ready? You , find ball. Ball, where?Voice #5: It's there on the bed!Voice #6: It's right there.Voice #7: It's by the pillow.Kako: Right. Ball. Ball. Perfecto! Thank you. Thanks, Oobi. [humming][Kako leaves to play with the ball outside.]
Oobi: Anytime. [sighs] Ball.Scene 4: A group effort [Later, Oobi is still cleaning his room. It's taking a long time.]
Oobi: Whew, big job. Whew.[Uma looks at Oobi through the window.]
Oobi: No. Oobi clean room.[Kako pops up, holding the ball.]
Kako: Oobi. Play ball now?Oobi: No, Oobi clean room.[Uma whispers something to Kako.]
Kako: Oh. [whispering back]Uma: Uh-huh. Uh-huh. [laughing][Uma and Kako walk away. Meanwhile, Oobi finds a sock puppet.]
Oobi: Ah, uh, sock puppet.[Oobi pretends to talk as the sock puppet.]
Oobi: [as the sock puppet] Hello, hello. [laughs][Oobi can't figure out if the sock puppet should go with the toys or the socks.]
Oobi: Uh, sock? Toy? Sock? Toy? Hmm.[Uma and Kako walk in, both holding feather dusters.]
Uma: Kako, Uma help Oobi.[The song "Clean Room " starts. Oobi, Uma, and Kako sing while they clean up.]
Uma: Uma dust everywhere!Uma: Ooh! Dust bunny! Cute!Oobi, Uma, and Kako: Clean room, clean room. Clean, clean room!Oobi: Oobi clean everywhere!Oobi, Uma, and Kako: Clean room, clean room. Clean, clean room! Books, here. Toys, there. Clean room everywhere! Clean room, clean room!Oobi, Uma, and Kako: Clean room![The song ends. Now, the room is totally clean.]
Oobi, Uma, and Kako: [laughing]Oobi: [calling out] Grampu!Scene 5: A job well done [Grampu walks into the room.]
Grampu: [humming] Mm-hmm?Oobi: Grampu, Oobi room clean.Oobi, Uma, and Kako: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.[Grampu inspects the room.]
[Grampu checks Oobi's bookshelf for dust. He sees that there's no dust.]
Grampu: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm, mm-hmm.[Grampu sees a plant on the windowsill.]
Grampu: Mm--oh. [sniffs] Oh, plant. Nice touch.Oobi: Grampu, Oobi room clean. Yes?Grampu: Hmm, toys, books, socks away.[Grampu looks at the viewers.]
Grampu: Oobi room clean? Yes or no? Ready? Yes, or no?Voice #8: Yes, Oobi's room is clean!Grampu: Yes! Oobi room clean!Oobi, Uma, and Kako: [cheering]Oobi: Uma help Oobi, Kako help Oobi. Friends help Oobi.[Grampu looks at the viewers again.]
Oobi: [whispering to the viewers] Thank you.Grampu: [to the viewers] Thank you.Kako: So Oobi play outside?Oobi: Grampu, Oobi play outside?Grampu: Oobi play outside.Oobi, Uma, and Kako: [cheering][Uma, Kako, and Grampu rush outside. Oobi stays behind for a moment. He says goodbye to the viewers.]
Oobi: Oobi, you, friends! Bye.Voice #10: Bye-bye, Oobi. Bye.
