"Itsy Bitsy Spider!" Episode number Season 1, Episode 47 Previous episode "Animal Cookies!" Next episode "Toys!" "Itsy Bitsy Spider!" is an episode of Oobi from season one. Like the rest of the season, it is a short that aired during commercial breaks. Plot Oobi and Kako are playing outside. Kako pretends to be a spider by spreading out his fingers and crawling around. Oobi laughs and decides to pretend to be a spider as well. After they finish pretending together, Kako gets the idea to play "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and dance along to the song. Oobi plays the song on his boombox. He and Kako do the fingerplay gestures that go along with it. They mimic a spider climbing up a waterspout, rain coming, the sun rising, and the spider climbing up again. When the song ends, they ask the viewers to follow along and do the fingerplay again. The boombox is the same one from "Dance!". Along with "Toys!", this short was never included in TVOntario's cable listings. Its existence was unknown until footage of it was uploaded to the Internet Archive. When Kako pretends to be a spider, he breaks the fourth wall by climbing up the side of the screen.
