Scene 1: Kako's new puppy [Oobi and Grampu are outside in the yard. Kako walks up to them with his pet puppy .]
Oobi: Hmm? [gasps] Puppy! Puppy. Puppy, puppy, puppy!Oobi: Puppy, puppy, puppy.Oobi: Puppy, bark. Puppy, bark![The puppy just walks around, not responding to Oobi.]
Oobi: Puppy no bark. Oobi bark. Oobi bark, you bark. You , bark!Oobi, Kako, and Voices: [all] Woof, woof, woof, woof, woof.Kako: Thanks. Bye-bye, puppy. Kako back soon. Be good. Heh.Oobi: Uh, oh. Uh, Oobi, Grampu watch puppy.Grampu: Oobi watch puppy.Oobi: Oh, Oobi watch puppy.Grampu: Mm-hmm. Oobi in charge.Grampu: Yes, Oobi walk puppy... Oobi feed puppy... Oobi wash puppy.Oobi: Oobi walk puppy. Oobi feed puppy. Oobi wash puppy.Grampu: First Oobi walk puppy. Leash. Hold. Walk![Grampu gives Oobi the puppy's leash.]
Oobi: Leash, hold, walk. Oobi in charge.Oobi: [gets distracted and plays around] Puppy, puppy. Mm. Puppy, puppy, puppy! Puppy, puppy, puppy! Puppy, puppy, puppy!Oobi: Oh, oh, yeah. Oobi walk puppy. Come on, puppy. Bye.[Oobi walks off with the puppy. The camera zooms in on Grampu.]
Scene 2: Feeding the puppy [The scene cuts to Oobi and the puppy finishing their walk.]
Oobi: [gets distracted again] Hi. Hi, puppy.[Grampu takes out a dish and a bag of dog food.]
Grampu: Bowl. Food. Puppy eat.Oobi: Oobi in charge. [plays with the puppy again] Puppy, puppy! Puppy, puppy! Puppy, puppy, puppy! Puppy, puppy, puppy!Oobi: Oh, Oobi feed puppy. Heh. Bowl, food, puppy eat.[Oobi pours some food into the bowl, and the puppy eats it.]
Oobi: Oobi feed puppy! Puppy. Oobi feed puppy. [watches] Hey, ha-ha. Oobi feed Oobi . [pulls out a cracker] Cracker. [munches] Um, mmm, mmm. Mmm, mmm, mmm.Scene 3: Bathtime [In the next scene, Oobi and Grampu run a bath for the puppy outside.]
Grampu: Puppy bath. Shampoo, wash, rinse.Oobi: Shampoo, wash, rinse.Oobi: Shampoo. Puppy shampoo. Uh, shampoo... shampoo...[Oobi can't remember what comes next.]
Oobi: [to the viewers] Oh, you remember. Shampoo... next?Voices: [children] Wash him.Oobi: Yeah, wash. Thanks. [scrubs the puppy's fur] Wash, oh, hmm.[The puppy walks around.]
Oobi: Oh, puppy funny. Puppy funny, puppy funny. Funny puppy, funny. Funny puppy.Grampu: [gets annoyed again] Oobi... next?Oobi: Oh, Oobi in charge. Puppy rinse. Ha-ha-ha![They rinse the puppy off.]
Grampu: Puppy clean. [laughs]Grampu: [shakes his head "no"] Oh, uh-uh.Grampu: Oobi rinse. [sprays Oobi with the hose]Oobi: [runs away laughing] Ooh! Ha-ha-ha! No, no!Oobi and Grampu: [both laughing]Scene 4: Playtime [The scene cuts to Oobi drying the puppy off with a towel.]
Oobi: Oobi walk puppy, Oobi feed puppy, Oobi wash puppy.Grampu: Oh, Grampu proud. Oobi puppy-sitter.Oobi: Oobi puppy-sitter! [singing] Oobi in charge, Oobi in charge, Oobi in charge.Grampu: Now, Oobi, puppy play.Oobi: [happily] Oobi, puppy play!Oobi: Puppy, puppy! Mm, mm, hi! Mm, hi. Mm, hi. [laughing] Hi, puppy, puppy, puppy, puppy! Puppy, puppy.[He notices the puppy's tail wagging.]
Oobi: Puppy tail wag. Puppy wag, wag, wag; Oobi wag, wag, wag.[He shakes around.]
Oobi: Wag, wag, wag! Wag, wag, wag! [to the viewers] Oobi wag, wag, wag;You wag, wag, wag. You , wag, wag, wag!
Oobi and Voices: [all] Wag, wag, wag! Wag, wag, wag!Oobi: Yeah, ha-ha-ha-ha. Mm, mm, mm.[Kako returns and walks up to Oobi.]
Kako: Puppy! Hello, puppy.Oobi: Puppy, puppy, puppy! Oobi walk puppy. Oobi feed puppy. Oobi wash puppy.Kako: Ooh! Oobi puppy-sitter!Oobi: Mm-hmm. [playing with the puppy again] Ooh, puppy, puppy, puppy. Oobi love puppy.Scene 5: Game segment [The game segment starts. In the yard, Oobi and Kako are looking at the puppy and a big log.]
Oobi and Kako: Dog, log. Dog, log. Dog, log. Dog, log. Dog, log.Oobi and Kako: [together] Game game, game game. Game game, game game. Game!Oobi: Dog, log rhyme. You rhyme. Dog, log. You rhyme! Dog, log...[Kako pulls out a stuffed frog toy.]
Oobi: Yeah, frog! Dog, log, frog rhyme. You rhyme. Dog, log, frog. You rhyme. Dog, log, frog...Voice #3: [boy] Kako's jogging!Oobi: Yeah, jog! Dog, log, frog, jog rhyme. You rhyme. Dog, log, frog, jog.[Kako takes out a black-colored stuffed pig toy.]
Voice #5: [boy] It's a hog.Oobi: Dog, log, frog, jog, hog rhyme! Game over.Oobi: Good game. Good dog.Scene 6: Interviews [The interview segments start.]
Oobi: Anthony like bath time?Anthony: Because you get to, like, go swimming. And you get to play with bubbles.Anthony: And you get to play with your ships, and it's really fun.Oobi: Yeah! Oobi like bath time too.[Oobi tries to teach Kako's puppy to sit.]
Oobi: Come on, come on, come on! Hey, sit. Sit, sit. [to the viewers] You dog. Dog tricks?Kid #2: I love my dog because he is a good friend and someone to cuddle with when I'm asleep.Kid #4: My dog is great because he says hi.Kid #5: I like having a dog 'cause they give you slobbery kisses. And that's funny.Kid #3: I like my dog because I can pet her.[The scene cut backs to Oobi in the yard.]
Oobi: Dog silly. Oobi, you friends! Bye.Oobi: [to the puppy] Say bye!Voice #2: [girl] Bye-bye, Oobi. Bye.
