Larry-Hochman

Larry Hochman is an orchestrator and composer based in New York. He was a longtime composer for Little Airplane Productions, the company that produced Oobi. He wrote and composed the music for the "Theater!" episode and is credited as a musician for every episode of season two.

He stayed at Little Airplane for many years after Oobi. He was the main composer for Wonder Pets, another show created by Josh Selig. In addition to television work, he has orchestrated a variety of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, most notably The Book of Mormon.

Bio

He studied music theory and composition at the Manhattan School of Music, the Eastman School of Music, and the Mannes College of Music. He specializes in orchestration. His music on Oobi and Wonder Pets was all in the style of operetta and performed by live orchestras. His wide portfolio of Broadway work includes orchestrations for his own Off-Broadway show One Man Band, as well as The Book of Mormon and the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof.
