"Meet Kako" is a bumper that was made to advertise season two of Oobi. It aired between shows on Noggin in April 2003. Unlike most commercials, this bumper was filmed on set with the Oobi cast members, rather than just using footage from episodes. DescriptionOobi is outside, looking at a goblet drum. He spots the viewers and asks them to guess who's hiding behind the drum. Kako peeks out from the left and waves his pinky. He darts back behind the drum, then walks around it and crawls on top. Off-screen voices guess "Kako!" and Oobi says they're right. Kako joins Oobi, and they do their secret handshake. Scenes from "Showtime!," "Dance Class!," and "Make Pizza!" play. A narrator tells the viewers: "For more - lots more - Oobi and Kako, watch Oobi's new half-hour show." The premiere date, April 7th (2003), flashes on screen as Oobi and Kako look at it happily. The camera zooms in on Oobi, with an advertisement for Noggin.com at the bottom. Characters
Uma and Grampu also appear in archive footage from the episodes. Gallery
