"Music!" Episode number Season 1, Episode 19 Previous episode "Nature!" Next episode "Guitar!" "Music!" is an episode of Oobi from season one. Like the rest of the season, it is a short that aired during commercial breaks. Plot Oobi and Kako are in front of a piano with a tin can and a water bottle. Kako taps his fingers on top of the can, using it as a makeshift drum. Oobi blows air on the bottle, creating a low whistling sound. They tell the viewers that they are making music. The camera zooms out as Uma walks on screen and announces that she wants to make music as well. Oobi and Kako shake their heads no and tell her that she can't make music since she has no instrument. After thinking for a while, Uma comes up with an idea. She decides to sing and use her voice as a musical instrument. The kids shout "Uma, music!" as they use their instruments to play a tune together. (source) "Make Music!" shows Kako blowing on a bottle to make music, like Oobi does here. This episode marks the first time a piano is seen, though it's not used or mentioned. In season two, Grampu's piano and Oobi's dreams of becoming a piano player are important plot elements. "Clap Hands!" is also set in a music studio, possibly the same one visited in this short. A clip from this episode was featured in a Noggin.com commercial advertising online games.
