"Neighborhood Art!" Episode number Season 1, Episode 29 Previous episode "Drawing Game!" Next episode "Toothpaste!" "Neighborhood Art!" is an episode of Oobi from season one. Like the rest of the season, it is a short that aired during commercial breaks. Plot Oobi makes a model of a neighborhood out of boxes and paint. He gives Uma a tour of each building: a house, a school, a library, and a store. Uma has trouble saying "library" and "neighborhood," so Oobi helps her sound out the words. At the end of the tour, Oobi and Uma hear someone knocking on the door of the house. Kako opens the door, and Oobi explains that he must be their neighbor. (source) The later episode "Neighborhood!" is based on this one, and it follows a longer version of the same story. This is one of the first times that Uma is shown to have trouble saying big words. This trait is used in many later episodes. This episode is set in the playroom, a short-lived set that was only used in season one.
