The Nick Jr. Channel is a cable channel owned by Nickelodeon. It is named after the Nick Jr. block, a long-running programming block that airs on the main Nickelodeon channel. The separate Nick Jr. Channel was launched in 2009. Reruns of Oobi were shown here from 2009 until 2013. HistoryThe Nick Jr. Channel premiered on September 28, 2009, replacing Noggin; Noggin was later relaunched in 2015 as a mobile streaming service. Some shows from Noggin were imported over to the new channel, including Oobi, which was shown on the channel's launch day. Reruns of Oobi continued until 2013, when the channel removed almost all of its Noggin programming from the daily lineup. Oobi last aired on March 18, 2013.
