Schoolhouse Type Building Employees Paula Appearance "Uma Preschool!" The schoolhouse is a building in Oobi's neighborhood. It is where Oobi and Uma go to school. Description The schoolhouse has a few different rooms for different grades. Oobi goes to one of the rooms, but it is never shown. Since he is known to be four years old, he probably attends pre-kindergarten. The only areas shown on screen are the hallway and the preschool classroom. Paula is the preschool teacher. Uma is one of the preschool students, along with her best friend Moppie and two boys named Fred and Taro. Paula's class is structured like an average preschool, with time for art, snacks, naps, and free play. Uma hated school at first since she had to leave Grampu, but she later came to like Paula and all of the different activities. Paula has a class pet, a guinea pig named George. Looks The costume corner The exterior is only shown from outside a window. It seems to be a red brick building. Inside, the walls of the schoolhouse are light blue with off-white borders around them. There are finger paintings hung up all around, including a few self-portraits of hand puppets. The hallway has a bulletin board, and some crafts are displayed on it with thumbtacks. In Paula's classroom, there are a couple of art easels, a sand table, a costume corner, and a snack area. The costume corner has human-sized accessories like a boa, goggles, and cowboy hats. There is a window on the left wall, where a few potted plants sit on the windowsill.
