[The scene switches to Uma in the kitchen. She is looking at three slices of cake.]
Uma: Uma game. Game game, game game. Game game, game game. Game! Count game. Oh, Kako!
Kako: Uma!
Uma: Kako. [to the viewers] Uma, Kako, you count cake. You, count!
Uma and Voices: [all] One...two...three.
Uma: Cake three. Kako?
Kako: Hmm?
Uma: Eat.
Kako: Kako eat?
Uma: Mm-hmm.
Kako: Ooh. [gobbles it up] Ah.
Uma: Uma, Kako, you count. You, count!
Uma and Voices: [all] One...two.
Uma: Cake two. Kako?
Uma: Eat.
Kako: Kako eat?
Uma: Mm-hmm.
Kako: Hmm. [eats the second slice] Ah.
Uma: Kako, you count. You, count!
Uma and Voices: [all] One.
Uma: Cake one. Kako?
Uma: Eat.
Kako: Kako eat?
Uma: Mm-hmm.
[Kako is stuffed but does not want to disappoint Uma, so he forces himself to eat the third slice.]
Kako: Uh, um... [swallows]
Uma: Cake gone.
Kako: [groans] Count game... over?
Uma: [shakes her head] Uh-uh. [hums]
[She shows Kako three bowls of ice cream.]
Uma: Count ice cream!
Kako: [moans and passes out]
Uma: Huh?
[Uma shrugs and starts to eat some of the ice cream. The interview segments start.]
Scene 7: Interviews
Oobi: You, birthday party?
Kid #1: I like birthdays because I can put cake on my nose.
Kid #2: My favorite part is the cake, 'cause I... sometimes I get hungry at my parties.
Kid #3: One time, I went to a surprise birthday party... and, well, when someone said they were coming, I panicked. And I didn't know where to hide, so first I hid behind my father. Then I didn't think that was good. Then I hid behind my mother. I didn't think that was good. I hid behind the table. I thought that was good.
